Omen AI, Irvine
The Omen headquarters is the clearest example of what we do in Orange County. Rather than applying a logo to a wall, the building exterior was treated as one composition, so the artwork reads as part of the architecture rather than signage attached to it. That distinction is the difference between a building people recognize and a building with a sign on it, and it is what a headquarters commission is usually really asking for.

Corporate campuses and office parks
Much of Orange County’s commercial building stock is low-rise office park, and it presents the same problem to every tenant: one more box among dozens, identified only by the lettering above the door. That is where a painted building outperforms signage. Legible from across the lot and from the air, it makes an address recognizable before anyone reads a name, which is exactly what the Omen AI commission was for. Permitting is usually simpler here
This is worth knowing before you plan a timeline. Exterior murals inside the City of Los Angeles require Original Art Mural registration, a neighborhood notification window and a two-year covenant recorded against the property, which together add roughly two to three months of lead time.
Most Orange County cities are considerably lighter. Requirements vary city by city and some have their own art or sign ordinances, so we confirm the rules with the relevant city on every project rather than assuming. In practice, an OC exterior often moves faster than the equivalent wall in LA proper. Interior work anywhere needs no permit at all. Built for the climate
Coastal Orange County is hard on exterior artwork: strong year-round UV, salt air near the coast, and marine layer moisture. Exterior work gets UV-resistant paint over properly prepared surface and a protective coating, which is what takes a mural from a few years to a decade or more. Cost and process
Our minimum project engagement is $7,500. A single interior feature wall usually sits near that, and larger interiors and full building exteriors go up from there. How long does an Orange County project take?
Design runs one to two weeks including revisions. Painting is two to four days for a single interior wall and up to three or four weeks for a full building exterior. Because permitting is usually lighter than in LA, exteriors here often move faster.
Do you handle landlord approval on a leased building?
The approval is the tenant’s to obtain, but we make it straightforward: the rendered preview on a photograph of the actual wall is what most landlords need to say yes, and we agree upfront whether the artwork is expected to be painted over at the end of the lease.
