Echo Park / Los Angeles – 2026
This hand-painted exterior mural was completed in 2026 at the Alvarado Arts Center in Echo Park, Los Angeles. The piece is an abstract scene with a California identity, built around bold color and stylized forms. Pezer97 Studios designed and produced the work on site, painting directly onto the building’s exterior wall at large scale. The Alvarado mural is part of Pezer97 Studios’ ongoing work on hand-painted murals across Los Angeles and Southern California, including commercial projects and brand activations.
Echo Park has a long history of public art, and a wall in this neighborhood is read by people on foot as much as by passing traffic. The composition was built to hold up at both distances: legible from across the street, with detail that rewards a closer look.

An Abstract California Scene
The imagery is assembled rather than literal. A woman in sunglasses, a palm tree and a lotus flower sit against fields of bold color and hand-painted lettering. The elements are recognizably Californian without being a postcard version of the state, and the stylization keeps the wall closer to graphic art than to illustration.
The piece was designed and produced on site, painted directly onto the building’s exterior at large scale rather than applied as panels. Exterior murals are painted with UV-resistant paint and sealed with a protective coating so the color stays true through years of direct sun.
